2. How We Use Your Information
- Platform operation: Displaying your content, processing Nuggets, managing your account.
- Security: Protecting against unauthorized access, fraud, and abuse.
- Communication: Sending you Dispatches (notifications), account-related emails, and optional newsletters (which you can opt out of at any time).
- Improvement: Understanding how the platform is used to make it better for everyone.
- AMMOcoin transactions: Facilitating exchanges between Nuggets and AMMOcoin through our AMMOcoin integration.
3. Information Sharing
We share your information only in these limited circumstances:
- Public content: Squawks, profile info, and content you choose to make public are visible to other users and may be indexed by search engines.
- AMMOcoin gateway: When you use exchange or escrow features, necessary transaction data is shared with the AMMOcoin payment gateway. See the AMMOcoin Privacy Policy for details.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or court order.
- Safety: To prevent imminent harm to individuals or protect the rights and safety of GLiBz and its users.
We do NOT share data with: Advertising networks, data brokers, social media tracking companies, or any third party for marketing purposes.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
GLiBz uses cookies strictly for:
- Session management: Keeping you logged in.
- Preferences: Remembering your Frontier effect settings (full, reduced, off) and sound preferences.
- Security: CSRF protection and fraud prevention.
We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
5. Data Security
We employ industry-standard security measures including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit (enforced via Cloudflare)
- Hashed and salted passwords (never stored in plain text)
- Regular security audits and updates
- Rate limiting on authentication and API endpoints
While we take security seriously, no system is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication when available.
6. Your Rights & Controls
You have the right to:
- Access: View all data we hold about you via your account settings.
- Correct: Update your personal information at any time.
- Delete: Request deletion of your account and associated data. Some data (e.g., completed AMMOcoin transactions) may be retained as required by law or for ledger integrity.
- Export: Download your content and data.
- Opt-out: Unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.
7. Children’s Privacy
GLiBz is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has created an account, we will promptly delete the account and associated data.
8. AMMOcoin & Blockchain Data
Transactions involving AMMOcoin are recorded on a public blockchain. Once a transaction is confirmed on-chain, it cannot be deleted or modified. GLiBz does not control the blockchain and cannot remove on-chain records.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our platform evolves. We’ll notify you of significant changes through Dispatches and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of GLiBz after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
