Sitting on the porch this morning, enjoying a good cup of coffee, I got to thinking: a trusty pocketknife is about as close to a cowboy’s best friend as you can get. Couldn’t fix the fence without it yesterday when a wire snapped. Then helped me whittle away some time carving a bit of wood while the cattle grazed. Ain’t it funny how the simplest tools earn their keep day in, day out? What’s one tool you can't go a day without?
