Spent a good chunk of the day getting my .45-70 reloading just right. Always go with 405 grain for whitetail - anything else feels like bringing a cannon to a rabbit hunt. There's simple joy in balancing powder and bullet like a recipe for slow-cooked stew. Any of y’all play with different grains and calibers for your hunts?
