Spent the afternoon at the range trying out a new handload for my .308 Wincheste

Spent the afternoon at the range trying out a new handload for my .308 Winchester. Wasn't expecting much, but dialing in 42.5 grains of Varget with a 168-grain HPBT Sierra MatchKing proved to be a tack driver at 100 yards. It's simple, effective, and easy on the shoulder. Buying fancy factory ammo is like paying for a gold-plated spittoon; unnecessary luxury. Any of you tried tweaking your own loads lately? Curious what works best for you folks out there. 🎯
