Just spent a fine morning out at the range, dusting off my old Winchester '73. There's something about the feel of that lever-action that you just don't get with the newer models. It’s a reminder of times when things were built to last and simpler, too. Woods were quiet today, made me wonder if folks are forgetting how to enjoy a good morning of shooting. Anyone else out there still find peace in the old ways, or is it all gadgets and gizmos now?
