The short version: GLiBz does not sell your data. We do not track you across the web. We collect only what's needed to run the platform, and you stay in control of your information.

Our Privacy Principles

🛡 No Data Sales

We never sell your personal information to advertisers or third parties. Period.

👁 No Off-Site Tracking

We do not track your browsing outside of GLiBz. No cross-site pixels, no fingerprinting, no third-party analytics.

🔒 You Own Your Data

You can view, change or delete your data at any time from your account settings.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

Name, email and password (when you create an account): to sign you in and to contact you about your account.
Profile details such as bio, avatar and location (when you set up your profile): shown on your public profile.
What you post, such as Squawks, photos and Movin' Pictures: shown to your Pardners and the community.
Nuggets activity (when you earn or spend them): to keep the site economy fair and to show your history.
An AMMOcoin address, only if you add one (for example to claim a Launch Season reward or use escrow): to know where to send AMMO. AMMO features are for members 18 and older.

Information collected automatically

IP address: security, fraud prevention and rate limiting.
Browser type and device information: making the site work well on your device.
Pages you visit within GLiBz: keeping the site fast and finding what needs fixing.
Sign-in times: streaks and security monitoring.

2. How We Use Your Information

Running the platform: showing your content, keeping your Nuggets balance and managing your account.
Security: protecting against unauthorized access, fraud and abuse.
Communication: sending Dispatches (notifications), account emails and optional newsletters, which you can turn off at any time.
Improvement: understanding how the platform is used so we can make it better for everyone.
AMMOcoin: if you add an AMMOcoin address, using it only to send you AMMO you've received on GLiBz. Learn more at ammocoin.org.

3. Information Sharing

We share your information only in these limited cases:

Public content: Squawks, profile details and anything else you make public can be seen by other members and may be indexed by search engines.
AMMOcoin payouts: when AMMO is sent to your address, the address and amount are recorded on the public AMMOcoin blockchain (see section 8). The AMMOcoin Privacy Policy has the details.
Legal requirements: if required by law, subpoena or court order.
Safety: to prevent imminent harm to someone, or to protect the rights and safety of GLiBz and its members.

We do NOT share data with advertising networks, data brokers, social media tracking companies or any third party for marketing.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

GLiBz uses cookies only for:

Session management: keeping you signed in.
Preferences: remembering your Frontier effect setting (full, reduced or off) and your sound settings.
Security: CSRF protection and fraud prevention.
Visit statistics: one session cookie, glibz_src, that notes only where your visit came from (details below).

We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

Visit statistics. When you arrive at GLiBz from another site or a shared link while logged out, we count the visit by where it came from (for example the referring site, or the campaign name in the link) and the page you landed on. If you sign up during that visit, we add one to that source's sign-up count. We also keep daily totals of clicks on a few of our own links, such as the shop link in the site footer and on glibz.com/links, with nothing about who clicked. We use one first-party session cookie, glibz_src, which holds only that source label and is deleted when you close your browser. These counts are totals per day: we don't store your IP address, browser details or account with them, and we don't use third-party analytics.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including:

HTTPS encryption for all data in transit (enforced through Cloudflare)
Hashed and salted passwords (never stored in plain text)
Regular security reviews and updates
Rate limiting on sign-in and API endpoints

We take security seriously, but no system is 100% secure. Please use a strong, unique password, and turn on two-factor authentication when it's available.

6. Your Rights & Controls

You have the right to:

Access: see the data we hold about you in your account settings.
Correct: update your personal information at any time.
Delete: ask us to delete your account and its data. Some records, such as AMMO already sent on the blockchain, can't be removed (see section 8), and some may be kept where the law requires.
Export: download your content and data.
Opt out: unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

GLiBz is not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account, we will promptly delete the account and its data. AMMO features, including Launch Season rewards, are only for members 18 and older.

8. AMMOcoin & Blockchain Data

AMMO sent to an address is recorded on the public AMMOcoin blockchain. Once a transaction is confirmed, it can't be changed or deleted. GLiBz doesn't control the blockchain and can't remove anything recorded on it. AMMO you receive on GLiBz is held in your GLiBz pouch until you send it to your own address; that pouch record lives on GLiBz, not on the blockchain.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as GLiBz grows. We'll tell you about significant changes through Dispatches and update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using GLiBz after a change takes effect, that means you accept it.
