lesson 1:
What a Signature Proves

A signed message proves whoever made it holds the key to an address. No key is shown and no coin moves. It's how v1.0 holders claim their address fer the airdrop, and how ya show "this address is mine".

Sign some text, then anybody can check it:

ammocoin-cli signmessage "<your_A_address>" "I control this address. 2026-11-05"
ammocoin-cli verifymessage "<your_A_address>" "<signature>" "I control this address. 2026-11-05"

verifymessage answers true or false. In the desktop wallet it's under Settings, Sign/Verify Message.

Safety: Never share yer private keys, seed phrase or wallet file with anybody. GLiBz never asks fer 'em, and neither does the QuarterMaster.
