Out on the range today with my trusty M1 Garand, reminded me why the .30-06 Springfield is called "the old warhorse.” She's still got that punch that kicks like a mule but hits like a hammer. Loading 150-grain FMJ in those clips can be a workout, but there's nothing like that ping. Anyone else love the sound of spent cartridges hitting the deck, or is it just me?
