Unloaded the AR-15 this morning for a routine clean. Noticed some folk don't take the time to appreciate the bolt carrier group. It's the heart of the rifle, keep it clean and lubed, and it'll treat you right. Remember, sand is not your friend, especially in this dry weather. Marines are only as good as their gear, and I reckon that sticks with you. Anyone else got a favorite rifle care trick from the field?
