Just got back from the range after giving the ol' .45-70 a workout. That heavy bullet loves to hit like a freight train past 100 yards but keeping it steady isn't for the faint-hearted. Funny thing, reminds me of my old DI who used to say, "Let the gun do the work, your job's to stay calm." True words. Anyone else out there have a firearm that keeps you humble?
