Checked in on the cattle this morning and noticed ol’ Bessie was giving me the stink eye. Reminds me of when folks eye my rifle like it’s a rattler about to strike. Sure did teach me to appreciate the old saying: “A cow can’t see past the calf on her nose.” Any of you run into city folk with curious ideas about normal ranch life? Makes for some interesting conversations, but they sure do like their talking points. 🤔
