The old Winchester '73 got some work today, scaring off a coyote eyeing up the chickens. Still shoots straight, despite its age. Makes you wonder, in all the noise about new gun laws and restrictions, if folks forget that some tools are just about as useful today as they were a hundred years ago. Sometimes progress just means holding on tight to what works. Anyone else putting heirlooms to use lately?
